I don't think the CUSA branding fiasco can be replicated. So far, they are setting the standard in how to brand a new team but at the same time still showing an affiliation.

Italian dude from New York. Played in Italy a little. What's his story. Why isn't he starting for red bulls?

Did The MLS announced a new team joining the league?
I read somewhere New York FC would be our number 20 but I also read on 2itter about a new club “ Los Angeles City futbol Club” is this the 21 team on MLS ?
    I’m just confused

That's just the Black Army creating a parallel universe where Chivas USA is branded better...

Agreed, hey has there ever been a formal request from the fans to rebrand?

No they should name it Deportivo Jose De Los Angeles. See that way the team will apeal to all the dam Jose'`s in L.A we all know that if your Mexican either your name is Jose or your dad or bother name is jose shit even some moms are named Jose. This way we can fill like 5 home depots with Joses as they will think the team is named after them. Good idea huh. Take notes FO

if there's rebrand/rename id prefer we just get away from everything Chivas, Guadalajara, Mexico, Goat, Red, White, Stripes, etc.
Can't half ass a rebrand- gotta go all in and do it right.

LAFC sounds better but its a little pretentious considering the only place they call it football is in europe. and LA City doesnt sound right. doesnt work like New York City.

LASD? Los Angeles Soccer Club? sounds plain/blah, though. might get confused with the sheriff's department lol.

also, i dont know how i feel about nicknames. the american tradition's a bit gimmicky (i know i sound like a hypocrite after what i wrote about europe, but that's not just a european thing - its worldwide). teams without nicknames just sound classier.

Here is an idea I had for a logo if the Goats decided to re-brand when moving into a new downtown stadium, which seems to be the normal with a new stadium. I would love to see the LA Dodgers get involved, built a stadium in the Ravine naming them "Los Angeles Athletic FC". Here is a logo idea and kit. The main color is Dodger blue.

I am sure the Corona sponsorship goes away with any rebranding. IF the team survives and stays in LA it will be without Vegara at the helm.

The logo is ok… but to simple
The name is good I like it
But the colors are wack ,,,, iy looks like a San Hooose uniform
I say if we rebrand and move we keep the same colors CHIVAS USA has the most elegant uniforms in the entire MLS …. We suck but hey that is true our gear looks classy, sexy, elegant
I love the red , white and blue
    *********************************

Heres an inside note ….. just don’t say it was Rey was the one that told you ok
Jajajaj awe wont have corona next year !
I hope is Tecate – Heineken- Modelo I don’t want—Bimbo-- then our gear would look more like Guadalajara jerseys lol jajajajajaja !

Keep it in the down low please ! shuuuuuuuu:speechless:

looks good - the kit reminds me a lot of La Liga's Real Sociedad. much respect for the work put in, but here's why it doesnt work:
    1. Vergara would NEVER change the colors of those stripes.
    2. if the team was sold, there's a good chance everything relating to the Chivas identity would be out (stripes, rebano, etc.) - YES PLEASE.
    3. being tied to CGUAD and Dodger baseball worsens our identity crises. big time.

The whole ideas was to tie the colors to the Dodgers, but uniform is basically Newscastle United FC is style.

the crest is good. It needs that old time brown leather ball that real sociedad has at the bottom of their crest. If that was at the bottom of the shield and the shape of the badge being circular that would be the bom dot com. Still think you can't go wrong with red white and blue

How about this for another looks, which will represent all Angelino's regardless of background. We are all brothers and sisters and the team should represent us as Los Angeles Football Club. Hey if they made sure a move I would to be split between FC and the Galaxy.
