Killer dime. That was a fantastic cross.

He has used his time at PSV to hone his craft with the cross.

Especially his left. He used to cut back to his right a lot.

In the clash between 2nd and 3rd, Feyenoord is held to a 0-0 draw by Twente. The advanced statistics suggest that Feyenoord totally dominated (3.19 xG) by just could not convert any of their chances, including a Gimenez penalty miss.

PSV will end the weekend with a 12 point advantage on the league table over Feyenoord.

Crosses were 21 to 1. It’s hard to imagine crossing 20+ times to LdJ without a goal resulting. PSV has a good thing going.

yeah fair enough....the general consensus broadly is that he isnt good enough for Barcelona

    I disagree 100%

I feel like Dest just needs the freedom to be himself whereever he plays and you will see a top player

under a manager like xavi who didnt give him the freedom....hes not going to look very good,

Important fact: Barca îs desperate for money. So don't be surprised if they sell Dest even with Xavi out.

It would be better if he went to Madrid.

    There is truth to that.

Dest is such a unique bird stylistically that its going to be hard for him to find the right fit, but when he does he will be a club legend there. Koemans or another dutch coach will be good for him, wherever the league. Berhalter is good for him. A rigid egotist like Xavi or Mourinho will not. Those guys cant allow players to "rebel" with their skills.

Dest shining at the club level in the Netherlands - and being ok under Koeman seems to me a bit of a pattern. He's comfortable in the Dutch system and will best off at a club that plays closest to a tradition Dutch 4-3-3 that gives the outside FBs (or at least gives Dest's side) room to run. With the way coaches revolve at top clubs it's hard to know who will continue to play that style but seems like if you're Dest that's what you're looking for.

He has been PSV’s best player this year in a GREAT year. I think you could choose De Jong for that as well, but either way its a fantastic year for Dest to this point.
