As long as he doesn't go OO7 AWOL it's all good! Although, these self indulgent videos probably make a nice motivator for opponents.
His level is pretty clearly above the Ered. Just don't know where as he's struck out at both Baca and Milan. Ered won't address developing on the defensive side which is something he needs big picture.
If Dest is too expensive for PSV to purchase, then I would take another 1 year loan at PSV to run out his Barcelona contract.
Its better than waiting on fickle twitter types to produce your highlight videos, if they ever do. Of all of the US players, Dest creates the most highlight-worthy reel. The guy is going Harlem Globetrotter every week at a level where 99% of guys in the US pool couldn't make the roster.
He's a much better defender than the teenagers on twitter know or understand. He's nowhere near Reyna-level bad, and he produces on offense with much more regularity than Reyna as well. He's just a better player.

Sure looked like he was fouled by Booth on the equalizer. But PSV looked off for most of the game.... lots of poor touches and 50/50 defeats. Either team could have won it as they both has shots hit off the cross-bar. A VERY remarkable win streak for PSV finally comes to an end.
I just watched the highlights but the Ref looked like he missed multiple fouls during the game on both sides. On the Utrecht goal, Dest definitely was fouled but you just can't turn the ball over there. Dest has built up some cushion though for a couple of mistakes. He is having a great season.
