Nirvana had Dave Grohl ON DRUMS and you're going to tell me they weren't that good? Nirvana were and are seminal. Whether that makes them good or not is almost irrelevant.
It's bound to happen occasionally. Those bloated dinos set the bar so high that nothing anyone has done since even approaches it. (to keep it on topic)... I'm sure it's very nice.
