The touch is absolutely fine - the synthetic is soft and thin, so it won't affect my own touch. The rubber is just grippy, and thin, and on top of mesh -it anything, that area of the boot has better touch.
vapours look as grown on me for sure now! still prefer the lesser model with no lace cover....wonder if nike will release a version of the sl without it?
Seems to me like you can just move the tongue down and have enough room to work with the laces. Might be a bit annoying but more than possible.
Noooooo my store was out of orange Mv4's so upset. When I was there the blue ones really grew on me. There pretty comfortable the laces a really thin too. I'm getting the blue ones tomorrow yay. -D
Good choice the blue ones are beautiful! They don't stand out on the pitch as much as the orange ones but they certainly make up for that up close! appleCORR
Right. I've tried the MVIVs . My wide foot fits. The touch..is unbelievable. The lace cover is so thin.. as to not serve much of a purpose, because youcan feel the laces beneath it. Flatter laces would help. The shoe is grippy all over, but I doubt it'd work in rain. Quite light. Not as light as the V1.0six, the difference is apparent. Too expensive, and I don't think my $200 plus is going that way.
Got them :] Blueeeeee. They look purple in the light. I almost went with the White Legend II's. Also the store said they're getting the red MV4's in March which means they'll come earlier on like soccer.com or prodirect.com. I don't know if thats old or not. -D
Anyone know if the white and gold Legend ll's are available in store or are they only online? I live in Mississauga Ontario, btw, so if anyone has seem them in any shops in the area, lemme know.
^^ Same here. I live in Toronto and was wondering which stores in the area carry the new Air Legends.
the fact that they only show them from the front leads me to believe there's a possiblity that they're steams.. cause they don't show you the soleplate or the heel which are teh biggest give-aways.
For the people who have the Vapor IV. Supposedly the Vapor IV's have a "Tactile-Coating" of some sort on them. Is that true or is the coating or tejin the same as the Vapor III? Your help is appreciated.
these shops have a nice selection of cleats (not that many on their sites) http://www.jmtmetrosport.com/ http://svpsports.ca/cartwright/index.html http://www.in-2-sports.com/view.php?keyword=legend&bid=1&cid=1 (have the new legends) i know svps got quite a few new releases for cleats (adipure,50.8 and etc) and the guys at metrosport really know their stuff (a soccer only shop)
^^ Thank you SOOOO much. some are a bit overpriced but they have a GREAT selection (except noone has the white/gold lefend ii's )
i think those are only in europe as of now... they should be heading to north america soon, hopefully
I went earlier today to try on the new vapors and sl's. I must say that they are visually stunning. However, the lace cover was an awful idea it feels like they've sewn a piece of latex to the upper. I truthfully cannot see any advantage it adds. In truth I like it's predecessors more. I also saw the new legends in person for the first time and I must say they are quite striking!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdV3tNq8_Cs has anyone seen this commercial for the mv4's? i thought it was pretty cool and these other mv4 commercials with http://www.soccerbible.com/soccerbible.asp?Section=Videos&ART=4761 and http://www.soccerbible.com/soccerbible.asp?Section=Videos&ART=4759
Sorry its taken me a while to upload these. But here are the pictures i took of the MV4 i saw in my local sports soccer last week. The pictures really don't do the colour justice when it hits the light. appleCORR
