Hope you don't mind me posting this here but I hope you could help. I am coming to LA and looking for a place to watch champion's league on Wed (Man U vs. Real Madrid). Is there any one spot which stands apart the way Nevada Smith's did back in the day? Also, I am staying in Laguna Woods, so if anyone could recommend a place I'd appreciate it.
Don't know anything about Nevada Smiths bar, but you can try Olde Ship in Santa Ana. it's about a 20-30 minute drive up Interstate 5 from Laguna Woods. It's a British pub. 1120 West 17th St Santa Ana, CA
Thanks. Nevada Smith's was the Mecca for soccer in New York City, maybe the entire country, i.e. that was the place to go.
Thanks for the recommendation. I ended up going to a place in Newport Beach called the Shamrock, which was pretty good.
On PCH? Oh man, I haven't been there in years. I remember watching Galaxy games there with a few OC Galaxy fans back in the day.
