According to the Trib the NFL has 321 players over 300 pounds, that is at least 10 for every team. So next time the Bears or their fans complain about 130 pound Beas tearing up the field give them this fact.

As in, "listen, there are 321 guys in the NFL whose man-boobs weigh more than one of our players."

I could be off by a bit, but aren't NFL players allowed to wear 1.5 inch cleats? I think the limit for FIFA is somewheres arounf 3/4 inch cleats.

This was his weight when he started with the Fire and why on earth it has not been updated is beyond me. He's somewhere between 145 - 150.

    Da Beaz still treads lightly

Yes, but there are no DaMarcus divots on the pitch when he's knocked down, and the ground doesn't exactly tremble when he runs :)

I think gridiron boots have extra cleats in the forefoot and the toe for extra traction for running. That might tear up the grass more.
    Example. See:

    compare with

    No cleat near the toe.

Actually, I think his original weight was listed at 126 lbs when he started with the Fire. So it has been updated. Whether it needs another updating is another question.

Not exactly relevant, but if Ryan Futagaki is 5'7'', then I'm the next Brad Friedel.
