Not likely the who schedule is out yet. Last year it didn't come out until about a month and a half before the season started. I remember because my former room mate was interning for them and he brought it home and I took a look at it then like a week later it was released on DCU.com
Until the baseball stuff is settled I wouldn't expect a DCU schedule anytime soon. But we do know we'll be in Carson on April 3 against the Goats. K
The league usually doesn't get a schedule out until the new year. Usually it's out in February. There may be a delay due to the Nationals sharing the stadium throughout the season, and other teams that share their facilities in the fall.
a co-worker picked up the 'nats' schedule at union station today... baseball-free saturdays: 4/2, 4/9, 4/23, 5/7, 5/21, 5/28, 6/18, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 8/13, 8/20 three of those dates (4/23, 5/21, 7/9) have thursday bball before so that would affect turnaround and 4/23 also has more bball on monday after so that weekend is probably out. could be much worse, but it's still gonna suck.
Yeah, sorry. Sat April 2. Actually, now that someone as a baseball sched one could plug in the dates and come up with a rough one. K
You'd better get that date right for the next road trip. Good thing Paul is in charge of that, right? K is right though, we probably have a MUCH better grasp of when United's home games are going to be, since they are going to be when the Nationals aren't here.
Here's hoping we play Saprissa in the CCC- I have a ladyfriend who owns a beachhouse that is apparently within viewing distance of the stadium. Awesome.
i happened to get a call from my ticket rep this morning and i asked him about the schedule. it said that it won't be out until january. later, james
Open Home Dates for DC United - 16 dates figuring 32 game schedule April 9 (doubtful - worried about finishing touches) April 23 May 7 May 21 May 28 June 18 July 2 July 9 July 16 July 30 August 13 August 20 Sept 17 Oct 8 Oct 15 Oct 22
Some other factors haven't been announced/decided: - Conference tables (one, two, or three) Likely 2. - Total games played. Will it remain at 30? If you play same conference four times (twice home and away) you get 20 games.....that'll leave 10 against the other six teams. If you bump the schedule up to 21, you can play the opposite conference home and away. Otherwise, a team is going to be shafted a Freddy visit. The Nationals new tentative schedule can be found here (in case you want to play MLS Scheduler:Home Edition):http://washington.nationals.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/was/schedule/tentative_2005_season_schedule.jsp A quick glance provides 13 potential Saturdays (maybe 5 of those have conversion conflicts -- depends on how fast they can convert the stadium), and 13 Wednesdays with 3 potential conflicts. These dates are just during the baseball season, which only spills one weekend into October.
Yeah, so I went to the Nationals (you know they're going to call them the Nats and everyone's going to ask where McBride is going to line up) website and found this page on the history of RFK stadium. http://washington.nationals.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/was/ballpark/history.jsp Notice anything missing?
