And Willie Nelson is older than all of them, which is a good thing.
I may not be a big fan of his music, but nobody can deny that Willie Nelson is a national treasure.

Re: KDB rumors - Saw a post stating KDB would be a great backup for Shaqiri. Hoping he is just joking or that he has someone to help him remember his name.

Frank left open a (slight) possibility that Gutman could play this week. Was that a Jim Carrey “ so you’re telling me there’s a chance “ quote or does this mean that some of worst injuries have been ruled out?

The fact that they just did the MRI is odd to me, in particular if they thought he might be able to play in the near future.

I'm not buying it, but it does make me feel better that Gutman may not be out a minimum of 4-8 weeks if Frank is giving even a slight chance for him to play this week.

I'm hoping for him maybe sitting out the next game or two as a precautionary measure.

It is probably time for Shaqiri to occupy the right wing with Guti in the middle and move MHS to the left. Not ideal as the opposition will likely attack against the right instead of the left.

  10. As someone who has had multiple MRIs, if it's a traumatic injury the immediate inflammation/swelling needs to subside in order to get an accurate view of the injury. Then the radiologist writes a report which lands in the orthopedic specialist's in box. It can take 2-4 days

That was actually a Johnny Paycheck quote. Splitting hairs.

OK I owe you an apology. I was wrong. After listening to "Problem Solving Doctor" I realized that quote was NOT in there. Then I started digging and realized that I first heard this as a Little Joe Carson song from 1963. I also have a George Jones version from the 60's but in fact it WAS written by Willie Nelson after all.

Speaking of Little Joe Carson if you listen to "Helpless" it's about as good as 60's country shuffles get.

Not a doctor, and not always accurate, but this account appears to have some contacts in the club.

Yeah, I've heard 3-5 weeks. Which is what I guessed it would be when I saw him go down.

Based on his reaction when he went down, I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we seen him play before May

I think that was more the emotion of getting injured in the first minutes of his first game back with the Fire after years of being away. Doesn't matter how big the injury actually is, that's gonna hurt emotionally.

I interpreted a combination of that and an athlete knowing ‘a pop’ means a lengthy recovery.
You are bummed when you roll an ankle or pull a hammy, but you are emotionally upset when you tear something. Unfortunately I’ve experienced both scenarios multiple times…both injuries I had that required reconstructive surgery, I knew it when the injury occurred.

If you can make a correct medical diagnosis from a distance every time, you might think about changing occupations ( to mystic).

lol yeah the self-congratulatory "exactly what i thought it was gonna be" after it was announced is a pretty funny thing to post

a lot more credible if you make the vibes-based prediction before it comes out from other channels

I will back Jiggs up on that. Made some decorative shutters yesterday in the shop for a customer and had the podcast on.
