I was wondering if we have heard anything more about Lester Moré who likely defected from Cuba during the 2007 Gold Cup. I would have expected to see him popping up in the MLS or USL pretty soon. An aging player who could earn a few bucks playing club ball before retiring. As I understand it the U.S. would accept him without contest so I guess I just don't know why we haven't heard anything else. Let me know if you have heard anything.
He is in Charleston, SC, but the Battery have not announced him as a signed player yet, it has to be approved by the league office.
