Aston Villa have recalled Nicky Shorey from his loan at Nottingham Forest. Shorey has been on loan with Billy Davies' side for the past two months and has played a key role in Forest climbing into second spot in the table. But Villa boss Martin O'Neill has recalled the former England international because of a shin injury to first-choice left-back Stephen Warnock.
