Unfortunately I have an appointment in court but I was able to watch only the first time, and let me tell you what a horrible first 25 minutes! Newcastle pressing everywhere around the pitch, I like Lua Lua and Hugo Viana and Barça looked lost defensively, the first blaugrana arrival was at minute 26th and it was an off side call by Saviola, the next move (one minute later) was a long ball that Kluivert :)eek: yeah him!!!) scored after he chipped the ball between Given's legs, Barça improved after that goal and Newcastle felt knocked down although tried to control the midfield, six minutes later Saviola put the second after a magnificent vaselina by Mendieta from the right, sorry guys I gotta run, later in the night.

    35' Saviola
    49' Luis Enrique
    Bramble tangled by Barcelona

Last Wednesday they were beaten 3-1 at Nottingham Forest; last night they shipped three goals to rather better opposition. But next Wednesday night, when they play a Champions League qualifier worth around £15m, Newcastle United cannot afford to be so generous...

He should be. Just bumped heads. I know someone who was at the game. He said Barca looked good with LVG's system. Mendieta ran Bernard ragged out the right from what he told me.

NEWCASTLE: Given (st 16’ Harper), Dyer (st 29’ Ameobi), Bramble, Hughes, Dabizas (st 29’ Griffith), Solano, Bernard, Speed, Viana, Shearer, Lua Lua (st 15’ Jenas).

BARCELONA: Valdés, Navarro, Puyo (pt 10’ Reiziger), De Boer, Motta, Cocú, Xavi, Mendieta, Luis Enrique (st 29’ Riquelme), Saviola, Kluivert (st 15’ Geovanni).

    Goles: 30’ Kluivert (B), 27’ Saviola (B), Luis Enrique (B).
