I will be in New York for business this week, and I'm staying through the weekend as I've never been before and would really like to enjoy the city.

I hope to be able to watch the United game at Nevada Smith's. I've heard it's fantastic. Does anyone have any advice on how to get there, how early I'll have to be to find space, or anything else I should know?

If anyone is interested in meeting me there, we could set something up.

I don't live in NY, but I've been to Nevada Smith's. Where are you staying?

I'd get there an hour beforehand, maybe a bit more (especially if ours is the later game, which I don't recall). Not sure where you're staying, but Nevada's is in the East Village and close to the Union Square subway stop (about a 10 minute walk). I'd consider going but will probably be out of the City this weekend.

Can't you push your flight? Usually they're willing to accomodate people who switch to later ones.

I'll give them a call and see what I can do.

Seriously, it's worth it. I lived in NY/NJ for 4 years and watching Chelsea at Nevada's is one of the highlights of my time there.
