New USA kits

Looks solid to me.
And will probably look better out on the field.

Looks ok on my computer, how will it look on the field? I'll hold my judgment untill the first game.

 

Those vertical stripe USA jerseys came out in 2006 before the world cup and we wore them for a couple years after that (2007 Gold Cup, etc). The current white jersey, with the subtle gray hoops debuted in the 2008 February Mexico friendly.

As far as away shirts, I dont remember the progression, although I believe the blue with the horizontal stripe also was a 2006 debut. After that we had the Copa America blue pinstripes alternate, and we've also had a couple other away/alternate shirts too during the styling of the past 2 years.

But the best jersey USA jersey ever is still the 1950 retro

 

Red, white, and blue, baby.

I love the blue, although I think that the red stripes that outline the sash are a little too bold.

 

not as good as the one its replacing.

 

I actually love it! However, that'll all balance out when they reveal the home ones which will suck.

 

they brownish gray one? There's nothing American about that and it's possibly the worst color (or lack there of) you can wear. That jersey is horrible lol.


As for the new blue one, I love it, my favorite though was the 2006.

I don't see the draw that so many of the BS posters have to it.... that stripe looks terribly our of place.

Definitely agreed on all statements. I hate the 1950s retro. It may have looked cute back in the day but I think it looks awful compared to the new age looks. And the 06 WC jersey home was easily the best IMHO.

 

love the new kits - will be buying one of each. I just hope we keep with the matching shorts for both away and home kits.

 

2010 Home Jersey

 

Either do the sash or don't. The 2010 white looks to me like a compromise.
