(this was passed on the SE listserv, the host our listserv. Sorry if this was mentioned elsewhere) Dear Internetsoccer.com Family: We are excited to inform you that we ? the US National Soccer Team Players have purchased internetsoccer.com. While you are at the site, we invite you to check out its other areas, such as our Resource Center for soccer players, coaches and parents, our Fun Zone with great downloads and games for soccer fans, our Message Boards where you can interact with other soccer enthusiasts, and, of course, our Player Information, where you can learn all about us the players, past, present, and future, who have played for the US National Team and are the members of our organization! By the way, thank you for all your support during our recent participation in the 2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea! It was a great experience for all of us, and we couldn't have done it without you!
I really like this piece: http://www.ussoccerplayers.com./resource_center/ A cool site. Kudos to Goose and Co.
Pretty interesting venture. I wonder if the MLS players will ever get organized to do something like this. Course, maybe now they won't have to.
I hope they don't make Brad Friedel moderator on the message boards. You won't be able to get anything by him.
There were a lot of other nice web sites within the Internetsoccer.com family. One site that has been down for months now is collegesoccer.com. They've had a message up asking us to "stay tuned" for a big announcement. We really need collegesoccer.com to come back soon! There was no better source of information on the college game, and the season is just around the corner.
