Full Story: http://www.planetfootball.com/article.asp?id=104976&clid=&cpid=&Title=Chelsea+to+nab+Lazio+starlet Not sure how much to believe the story, I mean it did come from PlanetFootball and as we all know they've always reported the absolute truth...LOL If it is true though, we sure do have a plethera of young strikers at the Bridge. Maybe we should try to be looking at some young creative midfielders!
Have we got an inside man working for the Lazio youth team or something? We always seem to piss of with their youth players.
More Stwikers? More Stwikers? Agweed we really need to get some more mids, especially a cweative mids eh?
Appawently Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren is also wheelin' and a dealin'. He's apparently agreed a 1.5 million quid fee for US midfielder DaMarcus Beasley? good player, nice price. I wish we had put in a bid for this lad as: a- I'd like to see a yank in our team b- He's me fave US player c- He's got the right attitude, he likes to run at the defence.
GPK - Bees Knees http://football.guardian.co.uk/rumourmill/index/0,1451,781382,00.html I read it in the newspaper. Therefore... a- it must be true b- there can be no doubt that it is true yeah right! I like the player a lot, so I hope he aint going up to Borro.
http://www.mfc.co.uk/ No truth in Beasley link.... Unfortunate for Beas...He has a bright future somewhere though.....
All things considered and if they stay the way they are now i predict a good dozen players in the top teams of the PL by the end of the decade.
