What I hated was there was always a deep hole right in the center of the goal, filled all winter with cold muddy water.
I know I will be alone with my opinion again but I think this new stand in a worst case scenario looks ugly and in a neutral scenario "boring". The grey concrete in the corners and steel barred windows leave an impression like from a high-security facility from the future. The roof overlay leading down from main stand to Anfield road stand looks like two puzzle pieces that were smashed together although they dont fit. Just build another stand into the upper corner instead and make the roofs fit at the same hight damit
Sometimes it felt like. if I stood at the post I could easily reach the bar. In the middle I’d have to jump for it. Big difference.
You can do it with seats instead! Here's the seat layout for the new Sydney FC stadium- currently under construction, based on indigenous art: https://www.a-league.com.au/news/sydney-football-stadium-seat-design-revealed
Ever see the boots???? Jeez ...... the designer must have had a sideline in mountaineering specialties ...
I wondered what happened to the patterns. I remember some complaints from TV companies because they did funny things to the tv picture. I like the straight across cuts because they all seem to be 6 yards wide. That’s 3 cuts for the 18 yd line. Then you can see how far out a guy takes a shot from. Or a rough guide for offside. It doesn’t allow for a floppy shirt or a penis bulge though. That’s for VAR.
Udinese in Italy has one of my favorite seat designs. I learned to appreciate it during the pandemic while watching ESPN+. Almost looks like a mosaic.
