Watford have accepted a bid from the Baggies for Paul Robinson. He was highly rated in Watfords Premiership season and played for England U21 side but has slipped lately.

Hmm... Clement seems to be finding some form and we also just signed N'dour. So why do we need to sign another left back who has been regularly getting into Watford's starting 11?

One of the things that could hold up negotiations is if Robinson is negotiating for a certain number of appearances in the first team. I'm not sure he'd be very happy spending too many matches sitting on the bench.

Clement is a left wing back as is N'Dour whereas Robinson is a pure left back. I reckon this signing (if it occurs) is so that we can play 442. Clement and N'Dour are both good at going forward but their defending is suspect, especially in 442 formation.

So then I wonder who's going to lose a place in the first team if we do go to 442.
