my 20 gig ipod does what it's supposed to do and that is good enough for me

I saw the 20 GB ipod does not come with a dock. Is it that big of a deal if you dont get one, and is it still worth the purchase. Also, does the dock just charge the ipod, becasue can't you just use the adapter?

You'll be fine without the dock. It's almost completely cosmetic.

The only advantages to the dock are the line-out jack and that it looks nice on your desk.
