I would like to discuss about the top 3 center-backs of all time. As we have known for a very long time that the best of the best group of center-backs has only two person name Baresi and Beckenbauer.So,I think I should compare the best group of center-backs(not the best of the best and not count the great Maldini too) that based on skills set and I think I have watched football for about 25 years, I have seen these 3 greats that belong in my football documentaries.So,I would like to ask anyone that have watched Figueroa that how about his skills set and recognition by football fans. I fill him in this list because he is my favorite father player.
I have watched many video clips of Figueroa and I think that him and Van Dijk have a similar playing style,but Nesta was a little bit different as when he played ,he usually tackled so much more than VVD and Figueroa.
