How about breaking it out into categories: I would propose the following donkey categories: Player (on field) Player (off the field) Management/Executive Government Official, Involved Businessman or Other Fan Than you could have an awards ceremony like the Razzies or the Ig-Nobel Prize. My nominees would be: Player (on field): Mark Williams, Columbus Crew. Four yellows in 346 minutes, including on for persistent infringement just 4 minutes into a game. Player (off the field): Probably Grimandi; it would have been Clint last year. Management/Executive: Ray Hudson, hapless buffoon. Other: Vergara, not for what many are afraid he will do but for what he already has. Does MLS really want a guy who appears determined to combine the worst characteristics of George Steinbrenner, Bill Bidwell and Silvio Berlusconi? Fan: All of them everywhere who do the unbelieveably childish 'You suck!' chants after every visitors' goal kick, unless there some individual moment of moronitude out there that is significantly worse than the beer throwing in KC or the fireworks in the stands in Naperville.
Player (on field) - Hong Myung-Bo Player (off the field) - Giles Grimandi Management/Executive - Kevin Payne Government Official, Involved Businessman or Other - George Bush Fan - Rob Stone D)

Landon Donovan, for being a pretty boy, bi!@h. Especially a few weeks back against the Metros at Spartan Stadium whene he came across the middle and ran right into Johnny Walker after he controlled the ball, then a few minutes later, commiting a useless foul which should have gotten him a card, but didnt.

Ditto. Dragon Stadium itself isn't bad -- in fact, it's great for what was designed for: to host high school football games. The problem was that idiot John Wagner thought it would make for a fine venue for pro soccer as well.
