Wake Forest 2, Boston College 0. Deacs get a road win thanks to goals from Andy Lubahn and Jared Watts, both assisted by Luca Giminez. No word on whether Luca lives on the 2nd floor.
Butler gets a goal from freshman Anthony Smith to send Louisville to its first loss. The Bulldogs are 2-0-1.
Pete Caringi with his fourth straight brace as UMBC beats St. Francis (NY) 3-1. The schedule isn't the toughest - Seattle, UNLV, Central Connecticut and SFC - but 8 goals is 8 goals.
Sandon. I think you no more then the so called experts. I seen the kid play this summer in the pdl he led the country in goals. He is the real deal
Caringi can definitely be a pro, but I question whether he can play MLS. He is a sniper - shooting accurately. He plays with chippiness and with an above average soccer IQ. He lacks MLS top-end speed.
UNC @ Notre Dame is about to kick off. Game is on ESPNU and WatchESPN says it's blacked out online, but I clicked on the link and it's streaming for me http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index
The answer to the question "who will score the goals for UNC?" certainly appears to be Tyler Engel. He just scored his 3rd of the season in the 18th minute and it was a really nice show of skill with a flick over the defender and then a deft finish with the outside of his right foot to get the ball over the GK but under the bar. That's the kind of goal that will catch the attention of MLS scouts.
Tyler Engel scores his 3rd goal for UNC this season. UNC up 1-0 over Notre Dame 20 minutes in Edit: Sandon beat me to it
McCrary clears a shot off the line as Notre Dame is knocking on the door. Vince Ciccarelli is a physical handful. Hard to believe he hasn't played more before this year.
As an alum, I root for UNC but wow Josh Rice talk a lot of smack for a forward who hasn't scored in 2 years
ND scores a deserved goal. Irish have controlled the game the entire half. 1-1 with 10 minutes left in regulation
ND has looked like the much stronger team for the game overall. Hits the crossbar with 2 minutes left. Now going to OT

No, the only mist it creates is from American men crying with joy at the chance to see all the NFL hilights live without having to change the channel. Pretty much sums up America.
UNC has hit the post twice in OT. Once on a strong shot by Rice, the other that was misdirected by a defender.
Ohio State's Denio Leone scores against the run of play to put OSU on top 1-0 at 75' A loss today would really put SMU (picked 4th in new AAC behind UConn, Louisville and South Florida) in a world of hurt at 0-3.
L Leon Brown with equalizer. Great game all around. ND better on the day. Shipp classic #10 and ciccirelli a beast.
Brenes converts PK in 2OT for Zips 2-1 victory @ Rutgers. Going into home opener, one wonders at the health of Stevenson and Abdul-Salaam.
