Navy Shorts

We have the worst uniform in MLS and the worst uniform in Chicago sports.

These are dark (as in navy dark) days for the Fire faithful.

 

I was so conflicted watching this game. I'm rooting like hell for the Fire and cursing them for not looking like the Fire. My wife finally told me to STFU about the jerseys/shorts.

 

Yes, I thought he same thing, when the camera panned away, man they looked dark. Not only the NAVY, but the red is also dark. These new primary jersey's are HIDEOUS, I hope next year not only do we get new secondary jersey's we also get new primary jersey's.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have lost our ********ing identity. We lost it. Watching the game on TV I didn't know what team was on the field. My wife came in and asked who the REVS were playing.

May have been cause RB wear red shorts.

 

We might have to next week. Can't wear any of our 3 options against DCU. Maybe the primary with red shorts, but it's dicey.

 

So what ARE we going to wear when we play the Revs? Are the Revs going to wear the home kit at both Foxboro and TP because at least they have white shorts with a navy jersey to our navy shorts with navy jersey?

 

There was so much navy that when the players went into shade the TV lost them.

 

All part of the master plan...this way our back line doesn't appear half bad.

 

Dear leader was probably thinking to himself while sitting in the 2nd Star Club: "We could really use more navy. Maybe the team should all wear navy shoes."

 

Really disappointed that Section 8 didn't sing "We are red, we are white". Way to send a message, guys.

I'll also add the amount noise coming from Section 8 in relation to the amount of people in the section was weak sauce. Those of you who watched on TV probably thought it was loud because the microphones were close to them.

 

For the "come on you men in red" chant, the Capos switched from "Chicago's red and blue" to "Chicago's navy blue" to "Chicago's red and white". I was in the 2nd row of Section 8 and that was curious to me. I was unable to discern the extent to which the Section followed their lead.

 

Manchester United will often wear the black shorts at home to keep the colors between the 2 sides different.

Also, it can be up to the ref.

 

Just some dinky club playing in a 5th rate league with a message board probably not containing a thread about shorts color.
