Week 17 scenarios: Wednesday Fort Lauderdale can't quite clinch a playoff spot on Wednesday with a win but they can come pretty close. San Antonio is eliminated if they don't win. Ottawa can clinch the Fall title with a tie or win and will come very close to clinching the #1 seed in the playoffs. Jacksonville is eliminated if they don't win. Saturday Indy is eliminated but they can keep some other teams alive with a win over FTL. The Strikers might be able to clinch if they win on Wednesday. Tampa needs to win and get some help. Carolina is out if they don't win. And might be out anyway. Minnesota is playing for seeding. Atlanta is out if they don't win. And probably even if they do. Cosmos are in the fight for the #1 seed but need a win. San Antonio will probably be out by the time they play. Sunday Edmonton and Jacksonville will probably be eliminated well before Sunday.

Week 18 scenarios: Ottawa can clinch the #1 seed with a win against Atlanta. A draw will probably be enough but that would open the door for the Cosmos to possibly claim it. The Cosmos need Ottawa or lose or tie. If Ottawa loses a Cosmos win would be enough to claim the #1 seed. If Ottawa gets a tie, then the Cosmos would need to win by 2. That would give them the #1 seed on total goals scored. Tampa Bay can clinch the last playoff spot with a win. A tie would force Fort Lauderdale to win. A loss by the Rowdies would really open the door for the Strikers since FTL owns the tie-breaker. Minnesota is stuck in the #3 seed position. Win, lose, or draw and they are #3. Fort Lauderdale will know if they have a chance on Sunday and exactly what they have to do. A draw might be enough.
