Lozano is a bust, I just don't see him improving. Like @CarecaNapoli, I struggle to find what he does at a high level. He has good speed but he's not someone you'd consider 'fast'. He can't dribble, he can't make a line breaking pass unless it's wide open and he's in space. His crosses are weak and he aims for areas rather than players. His finishing is below average even for Serie A standards. I don't know how he put up those numbers with PSV. Either someone played around and adjusted them without anyone noticing or that league has teams comparable to Serie B.
Holland has a more open game. IMO he's not cut out for Serie A. Chances are Lozano would not score that Dybala goal. Two defenders breathing down his neck, a keeper to beat, and no support... do goals come easier than that in Italy? Not as often as in Holland.
It is like Jahanbakhsh. Top goal scorer in Holland and total disaster in PL. the Dutch league is weak.
Sarri is such a good coach. Lazio are a pleasure to watch. Why we brought Spalletti instead of him is beyond me.
I'm not sure Sarri would do quite as well with this squad as Spalletti. Sarri is more particular about the kind of players he needs.
If Italiano can turn Jovic into a gun again, he'll be an even better manager than I thought. Looks like he has his work cut out.
He has a weaker team. Italiano is a much better coach than Spalletti. At least Mourinho gets you top players.
So how is he a better coach than Mourinho if he can’t produce better results? Or attract better players for that matter.
You have to compare what they achieve with what they have. For that he is doing great. Now I think Spalletti is right now a better coach than Mourinho but it is marginal. So I would take Mourinho because he gets you top players which will make you stronger. I also agree we don’t know if Italiano can manage big names. A good example is Ancelotti or Zidane. Great at managing big names but poor tactically. If I am Real or PSG I take them. If I am Napoli I take Sarri or Italiano.
ADL is very cynical and has said before the title can be stolen. He might have resigned himself to the fact Juve were number one when he let Sarri leave.
We need to forget about sarri, it seems lazio appreciate him more than our management ever did. I think sarri can achieve good result with what he has, he can actually coach players and make them better, which is a rarity in this day and age.
