Spalletti was gifted the key to the city in a ceremony today. Hopefully Napoli has a holiday surprise for Juve reminding us of last season as well.
Hey Guys, serious question, do you think Napoli last season or Inter this season is a better team? Like if Spalletti’s Napoli last season faced off against Inzaghi’s Inter this season, who would be favorites?
From this time of year? I think it would be very competitive. They're better right now than we were late last season.
However, I do think that Inter this season is more tactically flexible than Spalletti’s Napoli last season. Like I always felt that the main weakness of you guys last season was that if Plan A didn’t work, you ran out of ideas a little fast.
True, and this season it shows only too clearly. But of course it was not easy to accept, so thr coach got the blame, and now the players feel guilty on top of everything else. Will be tough to turn this around, but the right spark can always do it.
We should have went for broke for Conte during the summer. Loser coaches will never bring us trophies.
Well, with Garcia we at least had some real flashes of brilliance; furthermore, a lot of the things are not down to a coach. It is not the coach's fault that our stars are no longer stars, in fact they miss what they can, and that now we can watch videos od Kim bringing the defence to another level in a red shirt.
Another day, another loss. How's those tactical improvements working out now that the managerial issue was removed?
I am fully aware of that. My argument is that maybe we should have let the coach work a bit more before firing him, as the issues do not seem to be down to tactical errors only. In fact, I would even say that factor has been almost inconsequential. We had won the league after a million years, and we started acting like now everything that does no go our way has to be the coach's fault. I believe the decision to fire our coach has not helped the team at all, although to some, the lucky win against Atalanta(a team that has been worse than usual anyway) might have deceived some people. Before the title, I do not think we would have fired the coach that quickly. People expecting this team to keep winning, without any reason whatsoever, by the way, is an illusion. I believe this team would have rediscovered itself faster had they not changed the coach. But all that is meaningless now, let us hope that we can move fast, and especially that the players will start converting chances and regain confidence.
