Lobotka has vindicated himself. He was very important in with Fabian in the build-up, as well as extremely solid defensively.
I don't think people should get too excited, we had it easy in this game due to Sarri's dogmatism. They tried to play a certain style, that we, unfortunately for Lazio, just do better than them, leaving us so much space between the lines whilst their attempt at high pressure was child's play for our trained defence and midfield to pass around. We did Sarriball better than them, way better indeed. My point is no other team in the league will be so naive against us.
Agree. Also Sassulo is in strong form and two days later is Atalanta who have an extra day of rest. If we get 6 points we are serious title contenders.
Well, by his performance it did not look that way. The statistics showed what I expected to see after I had observed the game. The passing accuracy I do not count, as his passes were mostly tactical, but even that is of great importance. But what I liked was how he defended, won balls (8 or 9 I think, some of those might have turned out to be dangerous), and stuck to tactics. You could often see him waving his arms and showing available players to his teammates. I am saying this because this was basically his 2nd real game after a long pause, and I am quite satisfied that he could fit in quite well after that period of inactivity. I agree about the real tests being ahead of us, but let's not forget that for a top of the table team, every game is a test. We should also be wary of, or at least a bit ashamed of, forgetting who Mertens has always been for us. You can say, though suddenly and unexpectedly, coming from you two, that Sarri simply screwed up due to his character and stubbornness, but don't just forget about Mertens. The guy replaced Higuain, and he also scored the most goals from behind the box in Serie A. Not just against Lazio.
