Naming Rights

  1. It has been posted that the Toyota deal for stadium naming rights fell through. Is that official? There seem to be many significant pieces to this season still unresolved. Naming rights are a big deal, and with the opening only 8 weeks away, it is getting late to add the proper naming elements. Also, the all-star game is still supposed to be coming and no word on who.
Having toured the stadium last Saturday, I can report that it looks awesome. Not a bad seat in the house and it will rock. But I'd like to see the details hammered out. We were told that there will be a row of retail establishments (restaurants, bars, others) added next year - these will run in a mini-street from the arch entrance toward Harlem Ave..

About as official as it was that Toyata was negotiating for rights in the first place.
