Does anybody else get the feeling that City are going to get ********ed over somehow in one of these last two games? And by somehow I mean officiating. The officials are gonna ******** City.
If they don't lose players and actually manage to strengthen just a little bit, Leicester will be a team to watch next season and they could genuinely contend for a top 6 spot.
Ndidi has confirmed once again why I would definitely have him at United. Very solid so far and hasn't put a foot wrong. And he's the type of player who seems to be at his best against the better teams. And at just 22, he's nowhere near his peak yet. How long before Sane comes on to the rescue?
Full credit to Leicester though: it can not be said they're lying down for City in any way. They've made this a contest and are still trying to play after going down.
We sold Evans but kept Smalling and Jones, then bought Rojo. Evans never panned out to his potential. But he's a better CB than Smalling, Jones, or Rojo could ever hope to be.
Evans was slow but better brain and pairing with Rio/Vida did hid his shortcomings.. Lheanacho (sp) eith massive chance but he blew it..
Game over and huge, huge win for City. Clever move also from Pep to turn to Kompany these past few games. His experience shone thru and that goal today was just incredible. WHAT. A. GOAL. This. We shouldnt be making fun of anyone. I cant think of a club as big as ours in a worse position. We are a laughing stock.
Ndidi belongs at a mid-level side that need a ball winner, Maddison isnt good enough, and Tielemans needs to show more (but he has lots of potential). Just my opinion. We should aim higher or at least for guys with higher potential.
Ndidi, as he does in big games particularly, was superb today. For my money, he's in the top 5 of DCMs in the league. Personally, I only have Kante and Fernandinho definitely ahead of him and he's much younger than both by some margin. At only 22, we can reasonably expect him to make significant progress. He'd clearly make a terrific signing for us. Tielemans has shown plenty already since his move from Ligue Un and has adapted very well to football in England. He'd be a solid candidate to replace Herrera, if we do lose him. Would not be my first option either, but if we somehow ended up with him, we'd get a solid player in our hands. Probably not at Herrera's level in terms of grit and effort, but he's definitely more talented and technical than he is (which is the gripe some apparently have against Herrera).
