He was kind of a dick to first say it wouldn't be him, to then cut him on the last minute. I wanted him cut, but the way he did him was wrong.

Don't be so quick to make judgement cause of what you read in the Chilean press;)

I think the injury to Suazo had some bearing in the final desition.

nope, i saw the press conference. he was asked about who he had in mind to be dropped, and he said that he wasn't going to decide until later. that he thought it strange that the press was signaling Cereceda as the guy, when he didn't see it that way....

u can say he meant to say he hadn't yet decided, but it was seen as an 'espaldarazo' for the player.

and its not the first time he does something like this either. he had told

Toselli just prior to booting him that he was going.

he also put Mancilla on the list of 30 players, then didn't call him or anything to tell him when he was expected to report to Pinto Duran. Toluca had to contact them to see what was up, and they told him to play the final and just stay there...WTF

he's also insulted various players various times.

AND, its been said that he has never had a conversation with any of the players on the team. he yells, tells them what to do, but doesn't speak to them except through his aids.

    he's ********edddd

The decision to cut him out was done way before...they just decided to wait for an appropriate moment. He said he waited for Mancilla to finish the tournament because he didn't want to upset him before these crucial final matches for Toluca. Fair enough.
