I haven't seen it discussed elsewhere, but what is up with Moreno, as he was seriously lame at the end of the game on Saturday? I assume he is going to go, and the team is keeping mum, but if it was the regular season, I'd guess he be sitting this one out.
Re: Moreno Injury Mods, can we change the name of this thread to something like "Is Moreno OK for Sunday?" or something? I saw the words "Moreno Injury" with no context or question mark or anything and my heart nearly stopped with the fear that something happened in practice and we'd be without him for the Cup. I don't want any other DC fan relive the panic I momentarily felt.
25th Ditto. CRAMPS!!!!! CRAMPS!!!! It was freakin' obvious it was cramps!!! 120 minutes of balls to the wall soccer--of course it was freakin' cramps!!! (I apologize for the above outburst--but someone has to be accountable for the astronomical difference in my blood pressure.
Damn, do we need a group hug or something? Anyone have a bag of valium to pass around. It was hardly obvious that it was cramps on TV, especially when he could hardly kick the ball 15 minutes later on the penalty. Everyone take a deep breath and repeat after me "its only a game" "It will be okay"
Wednesday's Post mentioned that Bryan Namoff sat out of practice on Tuesday, but is expected to play. The same article did not mention Jaime Moreno missing practice. I took that as a good sign. That came after Monday's chat with Goff on the Post site in which he said about Moreno: "Just leg cramps, but I will get an update at practice tomorrow." So, the info has been out there since at least Monday.
