hey i dont know if this is in the right spot, but someone will move it if its not. i wanted to start a thread about claudio reyna's autobiography: "More Than Goals." has anyone else read it or purchased it yet? what are your thoughts? i bought it 10 days ago, and started reading it 7 days ago and could not put it down. i really enjoyed it myself. it did a great job spanning his career with detail, obviously, consiering claudio wrote it all himself. it incorporated many coaching tips and practice routines as well integrated into the book too. i have enjoyed and i learned alot about claudio's life i didnt know before. anyone else have any thoughts? forza inter
Reyna was a halftime guest at the Chicago/DC game. He spoke briefly about the book during the interview.

I bought mine for $15 a couple weeks ago...and it was autographed by Captain America himself. I even managed to get a picture taken with him. I also bought a copy for my nephew, whose birthday is next week. Claudio signed it for him, wishing him a happy birthday. (Claudio was in Pasadena signing books at the Competitive Athlete Training Zone, where he spent most of his time recovering from his reconstructive knee surgery in 2002.) To answer your question the book retail price is listed at $17.95 but Amazon has it for $12.57, free shipping if your total order is over $25. It's a great read. Pick up a copy today.
ya i got mine for around 17 in a borders book store. man, lucky bastard! thats swewet ya got some autographs form the man himself. have ya read it yet? what did ya think? forza inter
Barnes and Noble carries it as well. They have usually one copy in store. I picked mine up a couple of weeks ago and it was $18. It's well worth the read. Too bad I didn't get him to sign it, maybe down the road.
Yeah, I consider myself fortunate. It was worth the 40 minute drive to Pasadena to meet him and to get his autographs. As for the book: I enjoyed reading the book. It was interesting to re-live moments in US soccer history through Reyna's eyes. Great stuff.
