    What is the point of having a first division cup??

    The short answer is that, this season, the teams in the top division play more league games, so this was a wee competition to make up the shortfall in the lower division.

    Everything is in transition this season.

    P.S. Fair play to Kildare County and Dermot Keely for making the final in their first year of existence.
