In two weeks, I'll be moving to a new position in a new land (reclamation of a ranch in East Texas) and won't have the access or the time to moderate this forum anymore.

Thanks to Colin, joseph, spejic, Dan, Mike, Ian, SoFla, superdave, Bill Archer, Alex, obie, Crewdust, Scotty, WakeUpBomb and oman for discovering the perfect mix of venom and issue.

Dante is the most just of all BigSoccer moderators, so you won't miss me, anyways.

    Nos vemos.

ps - respond to this thread at will, but a warning that I plan to abuse my mod powers (on this thread and this thread only) until they're taken away (sometimes BigSoccer is slow at these things).

You are the greatest moderator on BigSoccer, and I am not just saying that because you put my name first in your .sig

    Ok, I lied.

Good luck with what you will be doing.

You've done a wonderful job and I hope to one day have you back as a co-mod.

    Take care and good luck!

    East Texas is the XXXXs.

Perhaps you can open an all Godard drive-in on the ranch. I'd take a road trip to see a double feature of Mas-Fem and BofO.

    No access??
Thats a shame .Maybe that area of texas will get electricity someday .

btw- Maybe you might consider writing a football related post before you're gone .
I stayed up late last night reading all of your 1000+ posts (my own little private retrospective, wink wink) on a soccer forum and no posts about soccer is unusual ,some might even say "weird" .

    Happy Trails.

Is this that you don't have the time to be a moderator, or don't have the time to post at all? The latter would bite rocks with gusto, yes.

For the next six months or so, I won't even have a line to hook my modem to. I'm sure I'll hop on every month or so during trips back home, but that's it. I'm getting all choked up just thinking about it. I love you, man!

But now who's going to correct my naive and misguided notions about film?? Gosh, people may start to think I'm some kind of expert.

On second thought, there's no real threat of that. :)

Good luck Gringo. And take a good thick copy of Blood Meridian along. It sounds like you may need it.

PS When you found out you wouldn't have a phone line, was your first thought, "D**n, now I won't have access to Big Soccer?" I hope not. That's a frightening thought.

God bless and good luck in what you are going. It sounds challenging, but it sounds like an adventure. Good luck with it.

How about unstickying the post of the week. Unless you plan to post one last post of the week for posterity.

    You're someone to talk...

I've read all 1735 of your posts and they all contain the following: "LOL," at least twice, a personal attack, and making fun of Maradona or Argentineans in general. ;)
