Wheewh. I'm glad to hear it wasn't just me.

I was feeling like the guy who shows up at a party on the wrong day.

Most probably know by now that New England is without Twellman and several others the rest of the year from injuries.

Evan Whitfield is the only one in the entire league under suspension -- and that's not for a red or yellow card points, but for disciplinary action taken after the game.

Having said that, after the way Etcheverry carried on berating the AR and 4th official ad nauseum after the game Saturday and seriously getting in their face, if he doesn't get a suspension it's a travesty. Nobody should be allowed to "go after" referees like that.

Now that's truly bizarre. There was a post to launch it, but now it is gone. Anyway, table coming right up.

The URL is there on the master thread, but it's not hyperlinked.

Can't wait to see the new table. :)

I'm afraid that Guinho fainted when he realized he was the Weekly Cup Winner. Then, in a daze of confusion was unable to find his way back to this thread. Finally, he's come fully to his senses but decided he needs to double, triple, and quadruple check the scores to make sure no one will accuse him of rigging a win.

Or, maybe he just got busy at work.

Well, a good day for the home sides makes for a widening gap at top. dred pulls a full 5.5 points out in front, while the competition stiffens for spot #2. Two weeks to go. Can dred hold on?

IN other news, the Cup Winner's Cup standings include a new entrant for a three way tie at 3 wins apiece. Firefan2000 and scaryice are joined by none other than me! Guinho smokes the competition with an 11 point week, which sadly still isn't enough to either a) pull me into the top 10 or b) get me to focus long enough to remember to post the table on time :(

Dred, being 6-1/2 points down with two weeks to go, it's going to be tough. Wish you the best of luck over the final fortnight.

And those picks... looks like a bit of auto-pilot, but I'm tempted to agree with you. Looks just about right. I might have to pick some upsets and some blowouts to pull ahead. ;)

My tips later in the week...
