Stone Cold Lock Picks of the week:

    1. LA Galaxy 1.90 Draw 3.25 FC Dallas 3.50
    2. DC United 1.72 Draw 3.30 Kansas City 4.00

I know I'm not going out on a limb on either one of these picks, but just trying to make some money!

Parlay these two selections together for a bet price of 3.27

Rule no. one for MLS - nothing is ever ever guaranteed. There's just too much parity. I did a very informal study of MLS 4-5 years ago and found that if you automatically took every underdog priced at 5.00 or more you would have come out significantly ahead for the year. (I think there were a dozen or so matches where one team was priced 5.00 or higher.)

Rule one maybe? I'll scrap that $200 for those two selections above. I took LA straight up for $1 and a parlay with DC for $1. I did go 3-0 in week one including the draws in Columbus and Houston. I'll look to rebound this weekend and I'm still not straying away from the DC pick.

BTW... there is nothing guaranteed on any sports! That's what makes it so much fun!!! :D

Eh.....no real thoughts. Looks like La Liga and the EPL for me this week. And trying to figure out how the hell to collect my winnings.

So much for my "confidence pick". KC unbelievable in dc. Wow, noting having an offensively deficient GK makes a huge difference. Through Saturday, I'm down about 3 units betting 1 unit every game.

Another predicable slow start for me.
