SSF points for opponents played already....or remaining to be played?

If DC beats the Metros this weekend, we may have a race for the 8th spot after all.

Other than that, it seems like just a fight over positioning at this point, with the Fire all of a sudden the frontrunners in the East, and the Quakes, the Galaxy and the Burn battling it out in the West.

    Stay tuned.

It appears that it's opponents remaining to be played.

Reamining to be played. There might be a better way to figure out remaining schedule strength factoring past performance against the coming opponents but I'm not familiar with it.

It depends on whether you take the supporter's shield seriously. If you do, then the rest of the season is very interesting.

I can't remember. Have we had a repeat winner of the Supporters' Shield?

The next few matches are gonna be hell raisers. with the tie the Quacks had with DC the door got kicked open for the Dallas and LA to go right in. the 3 best teams in the league will face each at least 1 more time and SJ and LA have a home and home.........Sh!t is a bout to hit the fan, WHAT A GREAT TIME TO BE A GALAXY AND MLS FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, screw the Western Conference, the fun part is going to be a much faster DC squad (Quintanilla, Olsen and Convey) against a slow backline of a Metro team in disarray with nine points on the table. Ray just might make the playoffs after all.

Okay, okay, the Western Conference/Supporters Shield race is interesting, too.

And the dogfight between Chicago and Columbus might be pretty crazy as well.

    Later,

Take the Quakes out of the league and the playoffs might be interesting.
