First participants are in. Prop's to Metros11 for picking the Crew for the final! His seeds are a #2 and a #3, totaling a five. (I was trying to work in a way to give some sort of a bonus-pick, if the sum of the seeds was five [maybe six] or above.)

I'm interested in people's thought processes when the picks get to the double-digits, and most of the "obvious" choices are taken.

I myself will not make a pick, at first. I'll wait for a least a day.

Any team that gets defeated, of course, falls off the board, and all remaining teams will still be open. (So after the two knockout games, it will be down to 4 in each conference, with 32 total choices.)

I will leave that up to the posters to decide. The first few-or-so to reply "yes, make another pick" or "no, they're out" will declare whether an eliminated player can get back in. (Although, losing on a fifth-seed does bring back my previous statement of "if the sum of your seeds is high enough, you might get a bonus pick.")

In the end, this whole system is a work-in-progress, so I'll see what decisions will have to be made when we come up to them.
