I don't know if there is another thread on this. I just got online and my homepage is Yahoo and in that box of the top headlines there is an MLS headline about Fraser and Cannon getting their rewards. With everything else happening in sports, that is pretty impressive to have MLS on a Yahoo headline I think.
I got that, too, but I'm assuming it might just be because cookies on my computer indicate I spend a lot of time on soccer sites so Yahoo puts those kinds of headlines in their little news sector. I suspect it's similar to me getting e-mails from people I don't know saying, "watch Christie cream her pants!" or "meet horny housewives in your area."
the headlines on the homepage of yahoo are picked by a team of editors. some of them happen to be soccer fans.
