    which player? or which team?

    RSL picks first.

as for which player it's too hard to tell. There does not appear to be a clear #1 like Marshall was or Gbandi was. It will depend on who signs P40 and what RSL believes their biggest need is.

Well I think RSL needs to pick a mid, who in your opinion is the best mid in the Draft?

well again that would depend a great deal on who comes P40.
and after I watch the Final 4 and the Combine I may change my mind.
It would also depend on if you mean right now, or in four years.

but certainly there are some names that will get attention....
if I had to take one this minute it might be one of these two...
    Danny O'Rourke from Indiana
    Mike Enfield from UCLA

persoanlly I was impressed with Domenic Mediate at the final four two (?) years ago.

Hunter Freeman led the NCAAs in assists, but is he a defender or a mid. Same with C.J. Klass, defender or mid?

Aaron Lopez was a wonderful holding mid early in his carrer and a central defender of late.

But again let's get through the Final 4 and the Combine, get some P40s in there and see where it lands.

"Actually, Love, Peace and Joy transcend and are unopposed."

Transcend what? Unopposed, certainly not. Love blinds, but perfect hatred is perfect clarity.

"When we interconnect, each of us can experience this in the highest expression... our lives."

Love is not necessary for interconnection.

"Scipio; are you burning Rome because of delusion?.. or is it because the outside world effects change in your cause?"

Six hills are ashes, one to go. And how am i to put out this fire? By bleeding into it until I am dry, and consumed by the same fire? I know many in the Inferno consider this a very attractive scenario. Except...I have bled all I can, I refuse to offer any more.

As humans, we are never infallible. Future expereince may force me to rexamine life in the light of new knowlege. The same may happen to any of us.

"Would Ryan distract the possible growth of Gibbs' leadership capabilities?"

I do not think so. In fact, I think they would well together.

    Cheers!

No surprise, he was the best player on the field Sunday. This must have been working quite awhile to sign so quickly after the game.

He signed before the game. or at least agreeded to terms.
We learned about it before the final.

Agree to terms yes but if he signed UCSB will be very happy with their new rings. The league must have really wanted him because typically they sign around Christmas or New year's.

If he signed before the game, then it means he is NCAA ineligible. Does it not?

I don't know, this same thing happened last year. It's hard to define when they actually put their name on the contract.

I am sure it was more of an agreement in principle kind of thing.

I don't think the NCAA looks at college soccer as close as it does basketball or pointy ball.

I have one from the final too, but I am sure you can tell we are having some massive technical difficulties.

For the past month someone has been making denial of service attacks on MatchNight. It's gotten so bad and melicious that it caused a chain reaction of problems. Lee has had to repalce the server and is current;y resptring all the services and processes.

We should be back to full service soon and At which point I will put up the final report.

    Sorry for the delay.

Buzz - it was GREAT chatting with you at the Final 4 and I'm looking forward to the Combine as well.

By the way, the player of the draft is Nik Besagno. He's young, but a great attitude and will be a GREAT player.
