For the third year running I will be coming over to the states to see the MLS Cup Final. The same weekend my beloved Fulham will be playing Chelsea and I have been led to believe that it will available in the states. Any ideas on where and when please. :)

Premiership is shown in bars ( you need to find the one ), its shown on FSW you will need to check the schedule http://msn.foxsports.com/fsw, and also on PPV if your friends have it on their TV Direct Tv or Dish for about $ 25. Chances are you will be able to see this game live or delayed Arsenal,Chelsea and Man U are available one way or another.

There are a lot of British pubs that will have it on. What area will you be in?

I shall be staying in the Irvine area. I know they have a big Fox Sports Cafe in the main shopping centre but would they have the match on?

FSW does not show having that game on, it might be on PPV and the schedule is not out yet at least i can't find it.

Fox Sports Cafe probably won't be showing any EPL matches. The best bet closest to Irvine is the Shamrock on Coast Hwy. in Newport Beach. The next best bet is the British & Dominion, further north but just off the 405 freeway (and along the way to the HDC). The B&D will definitely be broadcasting the game. Here's a link to their schedule (which only lists matches through this weekend):

According to soccertv.com, that game will be shown on pay-per-view at 7 a.m. on Saturday the 13th, the day before MLS Cup. I don't live near Irvine, so I couldn't help you as to bars showing the game.

Don't use "shall" and "would" so much when you get here,

or people won't have a clue what you're saying.

    :)

Also, say "that's the shiznit" just once, please. I'm smiling just thinking about it.

On a more helpful note (maybe), make sure you have a car cuz Orange County has about NO public transportation, especially Irvine, which isn't exactly full of poor-folk.

This'll be your best bet for any EPL matches that will be shown on Fox Sports World. They always have at least one TV on that channel. However, if it's on PPV, your best is the British Dominion Social Club, however there's a huge cover charge, $20 I think. You better hope and pray the Fulham-Chelsea match is on Fox Sports World, otherwise you gotta fork over the dough.

Try The Olde Ship in Santa Ana or Fullerton. Lots of Brits and a good crowd. You may want to ring them first (when you arrive) to make sure they'll have the game on. Santa Ana phone is: 550-6700 and Fullerton is: 871-7447. Santa Ana would be about a 10-15 min. drive, Fullerton about a 25-30 min. from Irvine.

I've been to both and I'm sure the Fullerton one does not have a TV. If they did, the fire marshall would shut it down. It's that compact! I don't remember seeing TVs in the Santa Ana one, but they may be hidden somewhere. This might be your second best bet.

They've both got TV's...I've seen games at both locations. The Fullerton location doesn't always have a TV out, but they have a regular British crowd, and will make arrangements depending on the game's popularity. The location is cozy, but it feels like you're watching a game in your hometown pub. Santa Ana has a couple of TVs and my mates have said they sometimes make arrangements for a larger screen depending on the game. Again, just call before you go.

Has the Galaxy or MLS released any info on any MLS-related activities for next weekend (I know that the Awards Gala is the evening of 11/13)?

Actually, the league is announcing its awards Friday afternoon and I think they are announcing the MVP at the ESPN Zone in Anaheim Thursday afternoon.

That's what I thought about the ESPN zone but can't find any info on it. Is it around 1:30 or something?

There's the bash at the Hollywood Billards (adults only) from 8-? Most fans are heading there.
