HardHatMike, Walt and myself attended the MLS Cup last year and had a great time. I would definitiely recommend attending the MLS Cup festivities regardless of whether the Crew are playing. Several of us will be out in LA that weekend and hopefully many more Crew fans will be there as well! Since I've received several emails regarding tickets I figured I'd post this info now. Some of you may have received the same info from Chris Wilson in an email the other day. I have purchased 10 tickets in the Eastern Conference Supporter's Section (NE Corner) of the Home Depot Center to get the group rate ($38.00). So if you're planning on heading out and need a ticket I've got a few left. If you call up individually a ticket will cost you $50.00 in that section. Assuming there are still tickets available I can order more at the group rate. More expensive tickets are available as well and if you would like to purchase them contact Chris Zepeda at 310-630-2231

Re: MLS Cup Tickets I expect I speak for most people: I will only travel to Los Angeles if the Eastern Conference is represented by the Columbus Crew, and I can't know that until about November 15th. Therefore I will risk the possibility that it will be hard to get tickets by waiting until then. What I'd really like is for the team to keep a list of people committed to go if the Crew make it. I suppose that's too much to ask.
Re: MLS Cup Tickets yeah I'm not missing class and everything if the Crew are not playing. They should have at least(if MLS could do anything correctly) 500 tickets cordoned off for both teams fans, no matter if the Crew make it or not. It will be a less exciting affair without some fans there.

Re: MLS Cup Tickets I am on the tentative list for at least two tickets. I am trying to get my finacial advisor aka the wife to agree to the associated costs. So far it's me and a friend. Anyone out there interested in splitting hotel and any in LA travel costs (car rental). We've never been to LA, so anyone who has; what is the best/cheapest forms of transportation. Is it best to just rent a car for the weekend? I'm looking for any way to keep the trip costs down and right now I've got everything sussed out except transportation in and around LA (Carson) once we land.

Re: MLS Cup Tickets Hello. I think the last time we were there, a taxi cost about $35-40from the airport(LAX) to the hotel. There is a Comfort Inn about less then the a mile away from Home Depot Center, that is where we stayed. It was not bad. What section will Crew fans be in? Thanks
Re: MLS Cup Tickets Like I stated, if I can get money for airfare, I can put up about 3 - 5 people for free at my buddies house. Hes about 20 minutes from HDC.
Re: MLS Cup Tickets In the past, it's usually been one section for the Western team, one section for the Eastern team, and then a "General MLS Supporters Section." If we were to make it, any chance of the FO putting together some sort of official travel package, or would there not be enough time? (Pay X dollars, get your flight if you need it, ground transportation, lodging, and match ticket.)
