Wild game Austin, as Orlando goes up 2-0 before getting 2 red cards, allowing ATX to come back and tie it in the 95th minute. https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/it-s-unbelievable-9-man-orlando-city-sc-react-after-draw-at-austin-fc
One thing I heard last night that was new to me, the Castellanos to West Ham rumors. He's arrogant enough that it might work for him.

Did not see this one coming... Charlotte FC part ways with head coach Miguel Angel Ramirez By Jonathan Sigal Tuesday, May 31, 2022, 08:49 AM
This is something you don't see everyday from an MLS head coach: PROMISE: Losing a game like this will NOT become the trademark of this current CFFC. Neither will “giving up 2nd half leads” in away games. #soonerratherthanlater #gutted #unfamiliarterritory #rebuild #reload pic.twitter.com/QMdmSDij9U— EZRA (@EzraHendrickson) May 29, 2022 And you thought the shot ratio in the NE v PHI game was bad...

Deila won't be doing push-ups in his skivvies again (at least not in MLS): Ronny Deila departs NYCFC for Standard Liege; Nick Cushing in as interim By Tom Bogert Monday, Jun 13, 2022, 10:02 AM
Crew spending big money on a forward from relegated Watford of the EPL. I really like this move for them, he's only 23.
Washington DC to host 2023 MLS All-Star Game By MLSsoccer staff Thursday, Jun 23, 2022, 11:07 AM This will be DC's 3rd All-Star game (also 2002, 2004). Revs have never hosted one. Neither has Dallas. All the other '96ers have, except Tampa (unless you count the 1998 game in Orlando).
Tomorrow's game postponed due to power outage caused by wild fires: San Jose Earthquakes vs LA Galaxy rescheduled for September 24 By MLSsoccer staff Thursday, Jun 23, 2022, 06:32 PM
I wonder why? You would think they would want to reward/recognize Kraft's contribution to the league. Maybe because we're not close enough to an urban center? Not that I really care - I doubt I'd go unless it was free - but it does seem strange.
STL add a second German DP: St. Louis CITY SC sign midfielder Eduard Löwen as Designated Player By MLSsoccer staff Friday, Jun 24, 2022, 11:05 AM Meanwhile in DC: Official: DC United sign Chilean winger Martin Rodriguez from Turkish club Altay SK By MLSsoccer staff Thursday, Jun 23, 2022, 07:26 PM
My first question is; have they held the all-star game on artificial turf? If that answer is yes then, wtf!!?? But if that answer is no, then you have your answer.
It bears remembering that Gillette had grass until 2006. So the league had 10 years to play in Foxboro on grass and opted not to, assuming playing surface is the decider
I took a minute and looked at the MLS all-star game history. It didn't take long, the first 2 games were played at Giant Stadium, they have artificial turf.
They interviewed the President of LAFC at halftime this weekend. He said that the organization explained to Bale all the advantages of coming to LA....Riviera, Brentwood, Bel-Air, Pebble Beach!
LAFC re-sign Carlos Vela as Designated Player through 2023 By Jonathan Sigal Tuesday, Jun 28, 2022, 03:15 PM LAFC could be scary come playoff time.
Especially if Bale feels like playing. I think he's the best player in the league when he's on his game - even now.
After last night's matches, the Revs have fallen to 7th place in the East. Other than NYCFC (16 games played), all the other current playoff teams have played 17. Miami and RBNY are three points behind us on the outside looking in, but both have a game in hand as well. Cincy played to a 4-4 thriller v NYCFC last night, so hopefully tired legs this weekend?
Looks like that was a wild game. Brenner with a hat trick, and had 2 more called back. Cincy up 3-0, then NYC score 3 from the 45' to the end of the first half to tie it. NYC takes the lead in 52'. Brenner ties it in the 70', then thought he had the winner in the 89' (got a yellow for taking his shirt off) only have it called back for offsides. He also had a nice backheel goal called back in the first half after the ball barely went over the endline prior to the pass to Brenner.
Columbus signed Jacen Russell-Rowe from Crew 2 yesterday, then threw him into the starting lineup last night. He recorded 2 assists in their 2-1 win over Toronto. No truth to the rumor that after the game, he yelled to the crowd "Are you not entertained?"
