So the penalty was a shot, and the thing a moment ago from the right side from 30 counts, and that's it, yes?

    EDIT: there's one!

After what I saw Borja do with Colombia today, I just don't think I can criticize Nagbe today.

Decent performance. I know it's an exhibition, but damn some of the officiating I saw today. Way too much was allowed by officials.

Sarachan looked like he was auditioning for a full time job.

The US might not have had shots, but they seemed to control the game well in the first half. It was a good performance considering most players have not played together before this.

That was a good performance when you consider the young players that weren't involved.

Pulisic 19, McKennie 19, Wright 19, Morris 23, EPB 20 and Acosta 22 would all strengthen the team.

Then you have the kids coming through, Pomykal, Goslin, Carleton, Sargent, Danny Acosta, maybe even Klinsmann. Exciting times.

Ehhhhh I don't agree. Wright isn't scoring in the second Bundesliga, Morris hasn't really done much worthwhile as a professional, neither has EPB, and Acosta has already been surpassed by Adams, McKennie, and arguably Delgado and Trapp. On merit, I'm genuinely not sure whether Acosta even deserves a call-up.

I did enjoy a match not going to crap 70 mins in due to mass substitutions. I wonder if there was a handshake agreement beforehand.

If Adams ever learns how to play his position ... he will be really good.

Not this again. Adams was phenomenal and has been so in nearly every appearance he's made at club level for the past 9 months.

I thought he was excellent, I think he will be much better when he understands how to defend in space, not overcommit, be more efficient, and control the game.

Sorry, it's the tone. "If Adams ever learns how to play his position..." Like, he's 19 and putting in regular man of the match performances at that position for club and country. He's doing alright.

My bad, I didn't mean it as a negative.

He's like watching Kyrie Irving and seeing how hard Irving works to score the 2 points. He's not selfish like Kyrie, but he works a lot harder than he needs to.

Some of it will take time and experience. There were a few times where he hustled back to try and stop attacks, but he should have been back there in the first place. He went a lot farther up than he should have given where the other midfielders were.
