How will New Chivas disappoint me this week?

    (I noticed crazypete13 was stealing sitruc's schtick, so why shouldn't I steal knave's?)

Relive week 1. This is very nicely done. I stumbled across it on twitter. I don't see it anywhere on the league website. This is something they should promote, no?

Bummed there's no late game, but I guess that means I'll be watching the Minnesota High School Boys Hockey Championship game instead...

I think there's a weekend review article on mon with that vid linked.

I'm curious to see if that vid is made for European TV, based upon the commentaries pulled from Sky on the vids.

Why isn't this on ESPN or FS1 or something like Match Of the Day in England?

Because it would get way lower ratings than anything else they might broadcast.

MLS should insist on something like this being a part of the next TV deal though. It might have the added bonus of stopping announcers from talking about other league-related shit during matches.

Dallas, Toronto, and Seattle were scheduled to have a break for CCL, like New York was last week. Dallas blew it, but they're still off. I don't know why Philly and San Jose aren't playing.

Philly only gets a winning record like once or twice per decade. Give them another week to savor it.

Here are the all-time records after week 1, including playoffs. Any game that was settled by shootout (run-up or kicks from the mark) is recorded as a draw. PPG is just a convenient way to sort the teams by record since obviously no points are awarded in the playoffs.

    Code:
    Pl. TM - "PPG" ( W- D- L)

     1. LAF - 3.000 ( 1- 0- 0)**
     2. SEA - 1.606 (151- 77-102)
     3. LAG - 1.594 (348-183-239)
     4. ATL - 1.556 ( 15- 11- 10)*
     5. NYC - 1.439 ( 43- 25- 39)*
     6. CHI - 1.436 (267-171-239)
     7. HOU - 1.429 (160-126-138)
