Thanks for the update. Pontius Pilate is banging in the crosses on Unimas but Jesus has saved everything.
FCD winning the supergroup at the Dallas Cup is a big deal to all the folks down there. Its been a measuring stick for their academy progress for a long time. Jesus Ferreira and Paxton Pomykol were amazing in this tournament. Its a U19 competition, and they're 16 and 17. They have the potential to be special. There are tons of scouts at this event. I don't know how FCD is gonna hold onto them. The next step is to take this academy dominance of the road, and start to win tournaments in Mexico and abroad. It should be noted that RSL and TFC also did quite well in the Supergroup. This was a banner year for MLS against international competition. I've been attending for many years, and for a long time MLS academies were just absolutely hammered by Euro and South American squads. These are their brothers and they wanted to help win this more than anything. #DTID pic.twitter.com/hRYhb9XTsy— Carter Baum (@CarterBaum) April 17, 2017
The first FCD goal was nice.
