Cold, dude, Cold! He was great fun to watch before all those concussions. I worry about guys like him, and Brian McBride, for that matter.
Y'all can't manage to beat the Pac-12's safety school, but sure, take it out on Wazzu's cheeky-and-fun shenanigans.
I know he's considerably older, but Fox just showed a shot of Bart Starr at Lambeau Field...talk about someone who doesn't look like he knows what day of the week it is.
Up thread, someone mentioned that the point of having all of the games from both conferences on at the same time is to give the broadcast partners options rather than being locked into something way in advance. So about those broadcaster partners and all of the games they're showing today . . .
Vancouver to tie or win all the way - make it so #2! (I'm still pissed I can't watch that game given Seattle is in the Portland media blackout zone ).
Original name of Atlanta was Terminus and it was a major railroad hub. 'tracks terminated' is a fair description. From Wikipedia: "The history of Atlanta dates back to 1836, when Georgia decided to build a railroad to the U.S. Midwest and a location was chosen to be the line's terminus. The stake marking the founding of "Terminus" was driven into the ground in 1837 (called the Zero Mile Post). In 1839, homes and a store were built there and the settlement grew. Between 1845 and 1854, rail lines arrived from four different directions, and the rapidly growing town quickly became the rail hub for the entire Southern United States."
True. Atlanta was referred to as the "Crossroads of the South" in one of my social studies textbooks when I was a tyke.
So is having little punk ass kids kneeling during the National Anthem now a thing in Portland? Great. Old man rant over. Back to the games....
