90 percent of RFK field is under water, and the rain is not letting up. Never seen anything like it. #DCvRSL— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) August 13, 2017
. . . and the rain begins to fall here on the Palouse, marking an end to our all-time record of consecutive days above 90 at 16.

Tina C. is screaming "Jersey Housewife" tonight. Metros have a sponsor screen for Jesse and his rainbow tie to stand in front of for the halftime interview.
Flooding is about about 3.5 feet deep in the team walk out tunnel at #RFK stadium #dcu #DCvRSL pic.twitter.com/ae3lNp7aN8— Lindsay Simpson (@lindsaysimpson) August 13, 2017
I was watching the weather roll in and it looked like the end of times was coming to DC. I was going to go to this game, we live 2 hours to the west. But, watching the forecasts as the days went by, we balked. Right decision. RFK may be the worst stadium to sit in rain delay. It stinks with decades of spilled beer, dirty and dreary, unbelievably humid with no air movement... can't wait until DC moves into their new stadium.

FC Dallas crowd looks sparse. The Hoops have been good for years, yet still least impressive crowds in MLS. DC crowds are better even in RFK and bad records.
This is our entrance to the field. The stair you see is the fourth from the bottom. #DCvRSL pic.twitter.com/vWQ29c0Wjg— Real Salt Lake (@realsaltlake) August 13, 2017 I have a feeling this game is called off. Anyone else?

Can the Don please announce a DC2 expansion to take up residence in RFK? For spite reasons, they will also be called United.
