The waves are impressive. The rain has let up some. The lightning hasn't.

 

I'm seeing quite a bit of cloud to ground.

 

Watching this rain storm is more entertaining than the RSL-DC game was, frankly.

Metros have a sponsor screen for Jesse and his rainbow tie to stand in front of for the halftime interview.

I was watching the weather roll in and it looked like the end of times was coming to DC.

I was going to go to this game, we live 2 hours to the west. But, watching the forecasts as the days went by, we balked. Right decision. RFK may be the worst stadium to sit in rain delay. It stinks with decades of spilled beer, dirty and dreary, unbelievably humid with no air movement... can't wait until DC moves into their new stadium.

 

The field needs a lot of work draining, but it held up well.

FC Dallas crowd looks sparse. The Hoops have been good for years, yet still least impressive crowds in MLS. DC crowds are better even in RFK and bad records.

 

Is that deeper than usual at good ol' RFK?

Can the Don please announce a DC2 expansion to take up residence in RFK?

For spite reasons, they will also be called United.
