I guess it shouldn't be surprising that a team that backed into the CCL managed to turn a chance to take the top seed in the knockout round into a steaming pile of crap. (If I'm reading the wikipedia page correctly, a Timbers win and a win from KC tomorrow would have meant that MLS could have had seeds 1, 2 and 4) I'm gonna have a sad nine-year-old on my hands in a few minutes.
