An excellent game with two franchises early on who where the epitomy of the league...one was the Title holder, the other the public favorite...too bad they didnt mix. You can hear the broadcasters complaining about the lack of crowd in NY, even though they are 3 time champs...at the same time on the other end of the spectrum, you have one of the best franchises in the history of soccer in the Steamers who draw, but never won the title. Alas, a very good game here with good players and a perceived crowd of 7k+ in NY.

    Enjoy...TEE

While understanding that my following statement has the potential to start an mps debate and whether that is the downfall of the MISL, but I liked the rule the league had that all players had to wear long sleeve jerseys. They look better in indoor soccer.

hahaha, well done sir, I liked the long sleeve kits too...my guess is that early on, it was a "strawberry saver" when sliding, plus alot of rugs were on ice, and the buildings were cooler...

I say long sleeve is mandatory!!

I have this game on tape. Good stuff. Btw, Al Trost was a terrible coach for the Steamers.
